Warm Spring

Season guide · also called True Spring · full palette

Warm Spring – True Spring, in most 12-season charts – is the golden center of the Spring family: warmth isn't one of your traits, it's the whole operating system. Honey, Coral, Leaf Green, Apricot – sunlight, but make it a wardrobe. Here's the full 16-color palette named and copyable, the makeup that agrees with all that gold, and the cool shades that will always pick a fight with it.

The Warm Spring palette – all 16 colors

Tap any swatch to copy it. Every color here has gold in its veins – even the pink (Warm Pink) and the teal (Warm Teal) lean toward the sun. There's no true cool anywhere in the set, and that's the point: your palette commits.

Who Warm Spring actually is

Three things at once. You're unambiguously warm – gold jewelry looks like it grew on you, silver looks borrowed, and your skin leans golden, peachy or freckled-warm. You're fresh rather than earthy – your warmth reads like morning, not harvest; that's what separates you from the Autumns. And you're medium in depth – not the lightest Spring, not dark, comfortably mid.

Amy Adams is the face analysts keep reaching for here – she's one of the few celebrities typed Warm/True Spring with genuine multi-source agreement. Blake Lively gets argued between Warm Spring and Light Spring, and Jessica Chastain between Spring and Autumn, which tells you exactly which two borders this season leaks across.

If that paragraph just described you and also your sister who tans differently, don't guess – the quiz and the photo analysis measure the axes instead of squinting at them.

Warm Spring or Warm Autumn?

Warm Autumn is your nearest neighbor, and the axis between you is freshness, not warmth – you're both golden to the bone. Warm Autumn's golds are toasted: Mustard, Rust, Olive. Yours are alive: Butter Yellow, Coral, Leaf Green. Same sun, different time of day. If Honey feels like your darkest comfortable gold, you're Spring; if you keep reaching past it toward brown, you've crossed into Autumn.

The other confusion: Bright Spring

The in-family argument. You share the warmth; Bright Spring adds voltage. Their Coral is louder, their yellow is Marigold to your Honey, and clear saturated color sits on them like it was invented for them. On you, that same maxed-out brightness wears slightly costume-y – lovely in a photo, a lot at brunch.

The honest test: put on the loudest clear color you own. If your face wins, you're Bright. If the color wins, you're Warm – and your Coral, one notch gentler, will do what that color was failing to do.

Makeup that agrees with the gold

Same shade names as our blush and lipstick pages. The pattern: warm, golden, medium intensity. Cool pink is the enemy; brown-heavy Autumn shades are the sneakier one.

Blush
Apricot, Warm Coral, Golden Peach. Cream formulas melt into golden skin best. Anything called "berry" or "rose" will sit on top of you like a sticker.
Lipstick
Coral Red, Warm Poppy, Golden Red. Your version of the classic red lip is a poppy – red with the sun in it. True blue-reds make your whole face ask what happened.
Eyes
Golden browns, warm champagne, a wash of Honey. For color, a Leaf Green or Warm Teal liner flatters warm eyes ridiculously well. Skip grey and cool taupe – they read as shadows, not shading.

Your real neutrals

Your closet's black-white-grey starter pack is three-for-three not yours. The swaps aren't a downgrade – warm neutrals on a Warm Spring look like good lighting you get to keep.

Instead of black
Warm Brown. From across the room it does everything black does, and up close it warms your face instead of drawing shadows on it. Black itself: below the waist, in bags and shoes, freely.
Instead of grey
Camel and Light Olive. They recede and mix like grey does, minus the drained-battery effect grey has on golden skin.
Instead of white
Cream. Optic white next to warm skin goes fluorescent-office very fast; Cream does crisp without the glare.
Your blue
Warm Teal and Aqua – the blues with gold in them. Marine navy is cool and heavy on you; teal is the same seriousness in your temperature.

Cream, camel, warm brown – the golden neutral spine.

What to skip, and why

Each of these fails on the temperature axis, which is the one axis you have zero flexibility on – you're the warmest season in the system alongside Warm Autumn.

Blue-pinks and fuchsia
Cool pink next to golden skin makes both look wrong – the pink goes plastic and you go sallow. Warm Pink and Salmon exist precisely so you never have to do this.
Icy pastels
Powder blue, lilac, icy mint. These are Winter’s soft-serve flavors. On you they read chilly and slightly medicinal.
Black near the face
Not a ban – a tax. Every black top costs you the glow you paid for everywhere else. Warm Brown does the same authority for free.
Cool grey
Grey has nothing to offer golden skin. If you need the effect, Light Olive is your grey and it actually likes you.

Is this actually your season?

Warm Spring and Warm Autumn share a border that half of r/coloranalysis has personally fought a war over. If you want the axes measured instead of vibed: the season quiz walks undertone, depth, softness and contrast in ten questions with an honest confidence bucket at the end – no photo, no signup. And a photo analysis reads warmth and freshness off your actual pixels, then shows you which of these sixteen colors your features already carry. Both are linked below.

Answered

Are Warm Spring and True Spring the same thing?

In the 12-season system, yes – one season, two names, and this page covers it. Some 16-season systems split a 'True Spring' core from an extra-warm 'Warm Spring' variant; if you were typed under either label, everything here applies. The palette doesn't care what your certificate says.

Can Warm Spring wear black?

Below the waist and in accessories, all day. Near your face it quietly taxes your glow – black is cool and you are the opposite of cool. Warm Brown at the collar does the same seriousness and keeps the warmth. If black is non-negotiable for an event, add gold jewelry and a warm lip as a peace treaty.

Can Warm Spring wear white?

Warm whites, yes – Cream is in your palette for a reason. Stark optic white is a Winter color; next to golden skin it reads harsh and a little clinical. If the tag says "bright white", picture it next to Honey and you’ll feel the argument start.

How do I know if I’m Warm Spring or Warm Autumn?

You're both fully warm, so ignore undertone – the axis is freshness versus earthiness. Spring gold is Butter Yellow and Coral; Autumn gold is Mustard and Rust. Hold something mustard against your jaw: if it enriches you, Autumn; if it ages you slightly, Spring. Jessica Chastain gets professionally argued across this exact border, so if you're stuck, you're in good company.

Can a Warm Spring have dark eyes?

Yes – warm dark brown eyes happen in this season, and they usually come with the freshest, most golden version of the palette looking best. Dark eyes alone don't push you to Autumn or Winter; depth is about your whole coloring, not one feature.

Which celebrities are Warm Spring?

Amy Adams is the cleanest example – typed True/Warm Spring by multiple independent analysts. Blake Lively gets argued between Warm Spring and Light Spring, and Jessica Chastain between Warm Spring and Warm Autumn. We list who analysts say, not our own reads – siOsi only types people who upload their own photo.
