Bronzers that don't go orange
Neutral, matte-leaning formulas built to add depth without adding a warm tint that fights your skin.
Bronzer goes orange for one of two reasons: the shade itself runs too warm for your undertone, or a shimmer finish amplifies whatever orange is already there under indoor light. Neither is really the bronzer's fault, but a neutral matte formula gives you more room to be wrong about your undertone before it shows.
This list is filtered for products whose own copy calls out matte or neutral — again, straight from retailer titles, not our own swatch test. Cool and neutral undertones tend to have the least room for error here; warm undertones have the most.
Bronzer is contour's easier cousin — same goal, softer edges. If you want the full placement breakdown, the highlighter guide covers the high points; bronzer works the low ones.

Answered
Why "matte" specifically, not just any bronzer?
Shimmer finishes catch warm indoor light and read more orange than the shade itself actually is. Matte and neutral-labeled formulas give you a more predictable result — filtered by title keyword, not a siOsi swatch test.
Does this fix a bronzer that oxidizes?
No — oxidation is a different chemical problem (the formula darkening on skin over hours) from a shade simply running warm. This list only addresses the second one.
What if none of these are stocked where I shop?
The catalog leans EU retailer feeds today (Sephora, Notino) with US and UK feeds coming. Stock and price shown here reflect the live feed as of the last nightly refresh.
