Bronzers that don't go orange

Bronzer goes orange for one of two reasons: the shade itself runs too warm for your undertone, or a shimmer finish amplifies whatever orange is already there under indoor light. Neither is really the bronzer's fault, but a neutral matte formula gives you more room to be wrong about your undertone before it shows.

This list is filtered for products whose own copy calls out matte or neutral — again, straight from retailer titles, not our own swatch test. Cool and neutral undertones tend to have the least room for error here; warm undertones have the most.
